What type of vehicles do we buy?
WeBuyAnyWheel will buy any vehicle, small city cars, large SUV’s, commercial vehicles and motorbikes. We also buy fleet and dealer’s part exchange vehicles.
How is my valuation calculated?
We use current market research to base our price for your vehicle, we do not just stick to one system for our prices therefore our evaluations can take up to 24 hours. All our valuations are not produced by a robot, our specialist team takes their time and effort to offer you the best price.
Why is my value subject to inspection?
All online valuations are based on without seeing your vehicle, this means it is based on a fit for purpose basis. We have to take into consideration any mechanical faults and damages to the bodywork. We can not accept every car due to rules and guidelines.
Why do you need my email address and phone number?
We are different to other car buying companies in that we do not offer an automated valuation on submission of your details online. Therefore we require your email address and telephone number to contact you to inform you of the valuation of your vehicle. You can select how you wish to be contacted on stage 4 of the process.
My car is a non runner, will you buy it?
We are open to view any vehicle and will always try and arrange a deal which suits you best.
My car has a private registration, will you buy it?
No, you will need to contact the department of transport to have the private registration removed from the vehicle, unless you want to sell it with the number plate with no extra cost.
My car is an insurance write-off, will you buy it?
Yes, We keep our process to submit your details very simple so do not actually ask for this information in the early stages of submitting your details. Please inform us via phone call or email so that we can give you an accurate price.
Where do I drop my car off?
You will be provided our branch details on agreement of an
appointment, we will send you a reminder of all the documents you will need to bring with you on the day.
What do I do with my road tax?
We do not leave any road tax on vehicles and it is recommeneded you have this removed before selling.
What do I need to bring with me?
Vehicle Documents
- Log Book
- Service Book, Handbook, Spare Keys, Locking Wheel nuts, Radio & amp; Key Codes, Sat Nav Discs etc. MOT (if applicable)
- If there is outstanding finance, a letter from the finance company confirming their settlement figure and validity.
- Photo Driving Licence or Passport.
- Either, a Utility Bill, Bank or Credit Card Statement (These must be in your current address and match the address on the Log Book).
- If you are NOT the registered keeper then we will require written authorisation from the registered keeper that you are authorised to sell the vehicle and the registered keepers photo ID.
- Your UK’s bank details and/or that of the Registered Keeper.
- Please ensure that the Fuel Light is NOT on.
What if I do not have a Log Book registration document?
We cannot purchase any car without the original document (log book). You will need to contact the Department Of Transport, one of our team members can help you with this. It can take between 3-4 weeks. As mentioned above, we can still buy your car whilst this process is taking place.
How will I be paid?
We will pay you with a simple bank transfer, once everything has been agreed and all documents are to hand.
How long will payment take?
In some cases payments can take up to 24 hours, but we will never leave you without your money or your car.
Can I be paid in cash?
Yes, only in exceptional circumstances due to money laundering regulations.
What do I need to bring when selling my vehicle?
Logbook/V5C for the vehicles, Identification and Proof of address
Can I just turn up at one of your branch?
You are required to submit and arrange an appointment with us via phone call or email. Booking an appointment ensures that your experience is quick and efficient in our branch.
My vehicle has been modified, will you buy it?
Yes, we will buy modified vehicles.
My vehicle is Irish registered, will you buy it?
Yes, we buy Irish registered vehicles.
How long will my appointment take?
Your appointment should not take longer than 30 minutes. Delays usually occur when proper paperwork is not provided or car specification/description is not accurate.
